There is a park that is in a town north of us from where we live when I tend to go for my run or any outdoor activities. Fletcher park has beautiful pathways through untouched forest which guides you along the river. This is one of my favorite places to go for a run or walk. This pathway is tucked underneath a mile long tunnel of river birch trees which makes the trail inviting. It is especially beautiful to see the rays of light dance on the path.
This painting was completed from a photo I took while on one of these runs. I hope to paint on location at some point when the weather permits. My goal would be to work on my speed while also being able to capture the exact moment in time.
