Charlotte Street Drug; Asheville, NC

Found an old black and white photo taken in the last 1920’s early 1930’s that I obtained from the Asheville Preservation Society archives. Charlotte Street is another main artery that runs through the edge of downtown Asheville toward the neighborhoods of Montford.

Having seen this building today, the brick is very bright red, so I wanted to convey this with warm colors. Her a lone store attendant waits on the corner.
