Schnauzer Love – Mazie

Today is the eve of my wife’s birthday and I have had these painting hidden for sometime now. Decided to give her both paintings today. It was hard to hide them for so long. Mazie has been part of our family for almost 11 years now, Nellie 3 years, and they both are still are sassy little things. Mazie barks at squirrels, nellie birds, and they both bark at everything in between. So if there is a silence in the house, with schnauzers…consider it suspicious…very suspicious!

For Mazie, I have had this photo that was taken several years ago of her in bed not wanting to get up. This was when Mazie was somewhat playful and had no other schnauzer in the family to steal her thunder. As I was taking the photo she rolled on her back and just looked up at me and, bam, photo taken. As time goes by, this photo captures everything about her personality. She has always been a loyal dog, except when she sees a squirrel.

In the bottom right corner you will notice that Mazie also signed the painting.

My name is Tim Ellmers and I love to paint in a wide variety of mediums. All the artwork you will see on my site is done by me. I post items I am currently working on regularly when the time allows.
